Statement peices don't get much more bold than this. Mark wanted to create a big ring that was elegant and extravagant incorporating flat smooth shiny silver with darkened vertical cut aways offering a contrast to the solid reflected surface and the suggested smoothness of form.
The name came from the resemblence of the finished ring to the grill on a helmet visor from a suit of armour.
Like all Mark's jewellery, each peice is individually hand-made by Mark in his workshop in Cumbria. The ring shown is an X and weighs 33g.
