The Large Concave Dome Ring uses the concave shape to make the most of the fantastic reflective qualities of silver, and at the same time the external sculptural form is modern and references mens flower shapes from nature and the form of an empty traditional bezel - normally housing a stone, which in turn would normally hide the silver beneath.
The Small Concave Dome Ring uses the concave shape to make the most of the fantastic reflective qualities of silver, and at the same time the external sculptural form is modern and references mens flower shapes from nature and the form of an empty traditional bezel - normally housing a stone, which in turn would normally hide the silver beneath.
An eccentric chunky cam ring with smooth simple lines, soft rounded edges and a mirror-like glassy liquid finish, Mark has made this wearable extraordinary sculpture in sterling silver - a fantastic piece of finger furniture for extraordinary people.
Structural silver gets geometric with this small orb ring - which is exactly what its name suggests - a small silver ball on an elegant shank. Simple.
Its simplicity and lack of detail, combined with the unusual design gives a very modern alternative look whilst referencing decadent historic influences.
This ring, The Small Orb, is one of two Orb rings Mark designed - simple but stunning modern organic orbs with a liquid mirror-like finish that really stands out from the crowd. The Small Orb is the same weight, but is overall more round in the body.
The Large Orb, is one of two Orb rings Mark designed - simple but stunning modern organic orbs with a liquid mirror-like finish that really stands out from the crowd. The Large Orb is taller, and slightly wider in the body.
As with facets on diamonds, the facets on this ring act to catch the light at different angles, making the piece 'sparkle' in the light whe it is moved and the different facets catch and reflect the light in turn.
This ring, the Narrow Small Square, is one of two square rings Mark designed - simple square rings with rounded points, one narrow and one wide.
The Narrow Small Square Ring is chic yet practical and understated yet unusual.
This ring, the Wide Small Square, is one of two square rings Mark designed - simple square rings with rounded points, one narrow and one wide.
The Wide Small Square Ring at nearly three times the depth, benefits from four wide clean reflective surfaces.
Sometimes Mark just makes something a bit off the wall. He gets an idea in his head, and it doesn't make much sense as anything other than a wearable sculpture. He often makes these strange pieces thinking that nobody will be interested in these flights of free-fall fantasy - but much to his surprise they seem to be incredibly popular.
This ring is inspired by the shape of the classic signet ring. Originally the signet ring was used to imprint the seal of the sender on personal communications - but Mark was interested in the eccentric shape of these rings - ignoring the flat surface where the emblem would normally be etched, he added further eccenticity through another axis and he produced this ring.
This ring, The Trio, is made up of three bands which are joined at the front and separate at the back. This piece was inspired by articulated joints found in suits of armour.
Statement pieces don't get much more bold than this. Mark wanted to create a big ring that was elegant and extravagant incorporating flat, smooth, shiny silver with darkened vertical cut-aways offering a contrast to the solid reflected surface and the suggested smoothness of form.

The elliptic band is a simple, very wearable band that brings a bit of chunky modern style to the everyday. Elliptical in shape so that the top of the ring sits proud from the finger, but is smooth and seamlessly blended with a narrow easy-to-wear shank.
The Triple Wave consists of three individual raised wave rings held together - and apart - by an inverted flat wave band running inside the three raised waves. Nowhere near as complicated as it sounds, it's clean and modern.
The Chunky Thin Round Ring may sound like a bit of an oxymoron, but its just what it says - a straightforward chunky ring with a round external profile - and its not as fat as the other chunky round ring made by Mark - See 'Thick Wide Band'.
The thin round square ring is one of the most delicate rings Mark makes. It is a thin slice of a rounded square. It is alternative and yet classy - sophisticated but still quirky.
Extraordinary jewellery for extraordinary people.
The Wave Band is a simple three dimensional form which is easier to look at than to try to explain. It has two rows of six 'points' made from two joined parralel oscillating waves.
To make this flower pendant, Mark first starts with a flower. A flower he generally finds in his garden. So Mark can't make these pendants in the winter - he makes a small stock in the summer, and when they're gone - well they're gone. Until next year.
This Large Orb pendant is simple and modern, lacking any sort of detail - but yet, due to its form, it suggests tradition.
The Bagel Pendant is just a big ol' solid, super smooth pebble-like chunk of sterling silver. With a high polish and glassy liquid-like reflections, the bagel is a beautiful sculptural form. Simple. Stunning. Tactile. Strung onto a simple leather thong, this is a high-impact modern classic.
This modern pendant comes in different forms, comprising three or four hand-made sterling silver shapes threaded onto a leather thong. The shapes can be specified from: triangle, round, square, barrel, oval, pentagon and star - in standard or large flat variations.
A simple geometric oval cross within another simple geometric oval cross, with concave inerior, darkened with natural oxidisation, which is then polished nto the silver to give an antique finish.'
Not truthfully an atom, but that's what people call it so...
Inspired by crinkled leaves that fall from the trees in the autumn, Mark created a simplified, stylised version of the crinkled leaf which capitalises upon the reflective nature of silver, creating concave and convex shapes to play with the light, and providing a large surface area of reflectivity whilst retaining a delicate feel and comfort.
Long after it ceased to be used for practical military applications, chain mail continued to be used for decorative purposes, and this then evolved into the use of maille in jewellery.
With this spiral maille, the spiral is held in place by fastening the chain after twisting the spiral into it. When you unfasten the chain, the spiral simply unwinds.
The articulated bangle is exactly what the name suggests - it is a bangle in that it has no clasp and instead it pushes over the hand therefore retaining its symmetrical, clean and modern form. The articulation makes the bangle easy to wear - and to push on, and it makes the bangle fall easily and hang naturally around the wrist.

The Byzantine Empire was part of the Roman Empire during the Middle Ages. It's capital city was Constantinople, originally known as Byzantium. The pattern of the weave of this maille bracelet dates from the Byzantine era.
Convex shapes offer exciting reflective potential for silver - the shiniest metal across the visible spectrum. Inspired by square-section punk rock stud collars and also by chocolate blocks, the Punk Rock Chocolate Block Bracelet is chunky and heavy and kinda Rock with added chic.
This box maille is chunky and solid-looking, and sits wonderfully on the wrist. The box is actually a piece of sheet maille traditionally used as armour, which has been 'rolled up' and 'stitched' together with another row of rings forming a chain with a box appearance.
Mark first made this bracelet for himself, when he wanted a chunky chain, straightforward, big and organic - that not only WAS hand-made but also LOOKED hand-made. He wanted each link to be different - rustic - hand-formed. Bent, twisted, hammered, imperfect. And as this is how he makes these bracelets, they are all different and totally unique.
Inspired by the chain maille jewellery Mark makes, and by medieval jewellery, the linked rings bracelet is a simple design consisting of large hand-made rings linked by a series of smaller rings.
